Our People
The CDF is managed from the Diocesan Office and governed by the Diocesan Treasury Committee, appointed by and representing the Bishop of Hamilton. We are guided by our investment policy, based on Catholic teaching and expert investment advice. Investors’ rights and interests are the primary concern of CDF at all times. To ensure we adhere to best practice governance principles and manage funds responsibly, our team has a range of skills including chartered accountancy and investment expertise.
Bishop's Message
The Catholic Development Fund (CDF) offers a great opportunity for the people of the Hamilton Diocese to support positive pastoral initiatives in our diocese.
The support from CDF is crucial for the pastoral care of our Catholic community and I am grateful to those who invest in CDF for their continuous support. I also want to express my appreciation for the CDF staff and the Diocesan Treasury Committee, who, guided by an investment policy based on Catholic values and expert investment advice, enable the CDF to make a tangible impact within our diocese.
By investing in the CDF, I believe supporters keep the value of their investment, and by way of a sacrificial interest rate, help the diocese achieve its pastoral goals through youth ministry, social services, chaplaincy, and training of future priests. I am thrilled to share the many successes and positive outcomes that have resulted from CDF's contributions.
